Description: Recently revised, STP is a 2 day lecture / workshop training program for foremen and supervisors, or potential foreman and supervisors. Ideally, it consists of two instructors, one from Labour, the other from Management. FTI Labour STP instructors come from across North America. Management Instructors are similarly recruited from North American IUPAT signatory contractors; to avoid conflicts of interest, management instructors are assigned in areas outside of their usual company territories. In this way, both labour and management perspectives are presented to attendees.
Minimum Class Size: no hard and fast rule, but ten or more is preferred.
Description: C2 is not an introductory course. Designed for supervisors and seasoned tradesmen with a solid understanding of coating fundamentals, C2 provides an overview of the principles of planning, awarding, and monitoring the quality of new construction or maintenance painting projects. After completing this training program, students will be familiar with tools to develop effective coating projects and play a more active role in managing painting projects to successful completion.
